If you can convince New England and California to secede when Trump wins again, then the rest of the country will be conservative enough to enact strong immigration restrictions and other conservative reforms, so you don't necessarily need an ethnostate, just a majority and the policies to keep it. Then the liberals can have their space and we can have ours, and people will really see which works better in practice.
