I found this in Jeremiah yesterday and wanted to share. The Lord had Jeremiah prophesy to Judah and Israel before Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon sacked Jerusalem and took Judah and Israel captive for 70 years and said that the elites of Judah and Jerusalem would not go back to Israel but would be scattered throughout the nations to be a taunt and a curse and a reproach. Could the modern Jewish elite be descended from these people?
