Why is Japan glowing so hard? Japans Public Broadcaster NHK just released new series about flooding and now they are asking viewers for how to prevent floods. They also released another promo about saving lives from flooding. This is whilst Nip twitter is consistenly posting about Kyushu flooding from China and visiting Dams in Japan and China

There was a bunch of speculation but there is the kicker. They were using western standards for construction and have no idea how poorly made it actually was. There are known structural flaws but that is only what is known. There are likely far more issues. So it could be fine or it could break tomorrow.

I checked the the weather forecast for that area (yichang hubei)and it doesn't show rain until Friday-Monday.
