They weren't black but when I was in school we had some Asian refugees (Philippians I think? They were SEA kids.) and they were pretty tightknit never interacted with anyone outside of their group except for one incredibly social boy that ended up acting as kind of a liaison for them but holy shit they HATED the black kids. They were uncomfortable around others but with black kids it was hatred. They'd regularly get bullied by the black kids, and fight with htem because they weren't afraid of being called racist. They'd always call them spoiled, telling them they don't understand how well they have it here when they'd cry racism or oppression.
One boy that grew up in a sweatshop beat the ever loving shit out of a black kid one day because he said that being black was enough for him to understand what slavery felt like.
