If you look at the birthrate of Ireland it has the highest birthrate of all western countries.

We are a very westernised nation and basically just always play catch up to whatever it is the UK, and to a lesser extent the US, albeit to a slighlty greater extent since the proliferation of the internet. We are not a country of leaders, we are a country of followers, that is not to say we can't be successful though. I think if we were less concerned with trying to be like other mainstream western countries and just foccused on being ourselves, it would be a great little country. Unfortunately this is increasingly difficult with moderen media. Again we do not lead, or carve our own path, we mostly follow. All in all, good country to live in, for now. Reckon if global warming fucks the world, we will be one of the countries least hard hit by the effects.
Modern Ireland is somehow even more baffling degenerate than England is, and that's saying something. Sinn Fein and the former IRA leadership are quite literally composed of quasi-Marxists and the current government are pro-EU cucked neoliberals that put even Tony Blair to shame. It's depressing as fuck to witness.

We're a safe country you can retire to. Don't know about based but we do get a lot of threads on Zig Forums for some reason, not that we are that important. I would liken our culture to an infection, once you get here you slowly get converted because of the humor and jollyness and thick skin. Last I was in Dublin town I went to a chinese where they all had Dublin accents and slang. Places like Irish pubs are a main infector of this culture. Turning a 20% Irish American and overwriting him with more Irish pride as American ancestry is a big tourism draw here. A similar affect happens with the Scottish and Canadians.
We've a love hate relationship with England but they are good neigbhours considering how mainland Europe fucks around. The country is also too small to be making enemies, as it doesn't take long for someone to find out about you.
There are already Irish blacks. The black irish of montserrat Island. Which kind of proves my theory on the Irish as an infection. Hot Spots are few as you can only find them in the city. However dogging and mindless field fucking can be found anywhere in small towns.
The Irish also get along well with Native Americans as they saved up some gibs for us to not die. Ireland is a great place for a rest.

Weird walking through Dublin and theres street corners straight out of the third world, I wonder what it was like in the 70s even with only Irish everywhere. Folks say there was hardly any restaurants or take aways. Hmm. Dublin felt a lot more Irish when I was a kid and I was born early 90s. I don't think theres a concept here of too much immigration, and they've lumped large numbers of asylum seekers into small villages here which is insane. I'd be nearly afraid to say what I really think on Facebook at this point so not so based I'm afraid. Not sure what to do about it, I think I may put the head down and try and make a lot of money before I start speaking up too much, people can be grand face to face but not on Facebook, country is too small to get a name for myself as a racist or something at this stage. I may start seeking out like minded heads on the down low or organising something. Playing the long game here, become a businessman then get into politics. Weird you can just walk near government buildings here and you're likely to run into ministers. The Taoiseach (prime minister) gave me a nod before walking down Pearse Street.. Too easy to get a bad reputation here, but good craic also and you can meet people from all walks of life and levels of professionalism just hanging around Dublin.
