I cannot speak on behalf of Japanese people, but here in Finland, Russians and Finns get along really well. Though, in capital there are some Russian criminals and they bring some bad reputation, but overall most Russians live well and respect the Finnish nation and there's no issues whatsoever. I grew up in a low class neighborhood and there were a lot of Russians and they were all decent people.
