It's an expensive idea, filters easily go for $50 a pop. Might get 2 or 3 uses out of a single one depending on how long your errands or whatever are, most are good for around 8 hours.

You don't have to buy surplus military grade filters. Look at the '/gmg/ Gas Mask General' threads on /k/, there are MSA filters that work for viruses that you can buy for $15 each

They used to have some extra cheap isreali surplus on there for around that price, but i think they also warned that those ones might not work for shit. Buyer beware sorta thing.
Otherwise, still seems overly expensive for just bullying normies.
My only interactions has been almost argueing with some boomers that surgical masks were better used to keep the virus from spreading if the wearer had it vs. a respirator.

I bought a bunch of israeli surplus filters on ebay. Seller said they weren't past their expiration date and still good. Filters I received were dated for 2003. I DM'd the seller pics of the filters I received with the expiration date and he told me to fuck off, saying "I know what I am selling and idc, they are selling like hot pockets and I'm making money off this" (not even kidding). I filed a claim with ebay and got refunded the hundred or so dollars I spent on a bunch of filters from him.
