Here's my theory: Trump understands that these actions are a part of war. He doesn't want to ruin his relationship with Russia over a few dead US soldiers, and THIS IS A GOOD THING. He spent years forging his relationship with Putin and a few dead US soldiers are nothing in the grand scheme of things.
It sounds cruel to say it this way, but it's the truth. Trump has to make life or death decisions EVERY DAY and this is just another one.

If this is so "obvious" then why isn't anyone saying it? Instead, they are pretending Trump didn't get briefed on it, or that he had no idea. That is just ludicrous.
The truth is that he WAS briefed on it, but if he had to always protect US soldiers, then he wouldn't get anything done. They sign up for war knowing they can get killed, and sometimes it happens. Sometimes the US government even kills its own soldiers, if it helps the country in the long run. It's what they signed up for.

A lot of people here just ignore what they disagree with. I believe it's important to confront the truth, no matter how harsh it might be. It's increasingly rare on the right (where most people seem to read bullshit "news"), but I firmly believe in reading FACTS and developing informed opinions about them.
It's real news but somewhere between six and ten years old that just got repackaged and stuffed into the news for a cheap shot.
