The NPC question

I know that the NPC meme is old at this point but I think that the idea behind it is still relevant. That being that many if not most people lack any significant consciousness or self awareness.
This is a theme that I’ve noticed other political theorists seem to touch on as well. Marx with his ideas of lumpenproletariat and alienation, Heidegger with his idea of homelessness, Nietzsche with the Untermench, the existentialist idea of authenticity and I believe Mill wrote about hollow man. I was hoping that in this thread We could discuss these ideas and how they might synthesize and explain what we now call the NPC.

all minorities are npcs controlled by kikes

That’s obvious, but I’m more interested in this who you would think would have a developed internal voice and critical thinking ability like college educated whites that seem to lack any semblance of consciousness.

bump
at this point one should ask: should people without an internal monologue be allowed to vote?

And even more importantly: how can we discriminate with an high accuracy a person without an internal monologue with one who has it? Like with a written psychologic test?

the paradox of academia is that it attracts many submissive people that will do what they're told without discussion. NPC's basically. I was wondering how big is the role of academia in the natural selection and reproduction of NPC's.

I think that it would be wise to restrict voting rights to those who are over 21 and who own property. That would likely weed out many non conscious, until a test might be made to determine if they have internal monologue.

Do you think NPC are born or made? Or do you think to a degree both? I’ve met people who seemed all there and after going of to college seem to have lost their consciousness.

Sense of humor.

>internal monologue
I'm not sure that's a useful distinction. There are different cognitive styles. I think the defining characteristic is dominance. Jordan Peterson asserts that serotonin and dominance is strongly correlated. This guy has some insights on why women tend to be more compliant than men.

I agree. People on the left of the spectrum are generally submissive. I've noticed women in academia use the term "social learning". Here's an example.

Academia selects for conformity. But it's a shallow characteristic. Time and time again, I've seen people who accept arguments from authority, parrot them, then forget everything as soon as the box is ticked.

It’s destruction of the soul. They have lost connection with the divine ether to the point that they are basically (almost)reactionary animals, albeit very intelligent.

Read Dawbrowski Positive Disintegration

No you have to earn a soul

>a person without an internal monologue
I can't believe this shit
Maybe some people refuse to engage in an internal monologue
But I can't even imagine a thinking person who can't have it.

God endows everyone with a soul, which is what connects you to him through the Holy Spirit. Some people I believe just literally lock it up in their heart so that it has almost no connection to the Divine.

I remember one guy who was pushed into a severe stress reaction. He basically developed tourettes, with a tick of 'mhm'. A complete mental overload, which coerced him into agreeing with everything.

Wrong

False Self does not equal a soul

NPCs are just herd followers. It's a survival strategy. When you're insecure and filled with self hatred you conform to the most powerful group who'll accept you. Being independently minded is a rarity. It means either you're a leader or a lone wolf. NPCs have an internal voice and an imagination, but they're used to calculate what they must do to avoid social rejection. That's all it is. Leaders and hermits aren't worried about social rejection, so they're mentally free to explore their world and consciousness. The no internal monologue and the "can't visualize the apple" bullshit is just disinfo.

Have you heard of Positive Disintegration?

This and there was also the aversion to cuteness thing that was quite interesting

I was in basically the thread that posited this idea. The rationale is that just like everything in our universe there are gradients of energy. Humans can be instilled with more or less of 'soul' and because there's just more people we're running into bugmen problems. I'm a big racist but I don't think darkies are less human than glorious Euro-ethnics. I just think they're more stupid on average and need to keep to non-white countries. Either way, what sucks is we're not really able to test spiritualist or metaphysical models right now, but to someone with half a brain it's easy to tell when someone has none.

Which race invented vivisection?

>over 21
maybe also over 25 considering the fact that modern society pushes individuals to stay immature longer.

Voting is irrelevant

>Voting is irrelevant
Only in America where all candidates are either jewish or controlled opposition.
Fuck off memeflag

>aversion to cuteness
Interesting indeed. I recall a russian guy who was trying to be cute with me, and I shut him down instantly. I'm also a rather literal person.

Everywhere user. Don't pretend to be naive if you have a modicum of desire to develop a soul, which you now lack.

Interesting. I think this does warrant further study. It has always been interesting to me why right wingers seem to be into anime while the normies shun it. Although I know many hard leftists with zero free thought that love anime. How do you think that plays into this?

You’re wrong about not everyone having a soul. Everyone has one even the most vile person can occasionally have it shine through their stone heart. It’s just a matter of using your soul to build it up.

>the idea behind it is still relevant
it's been relevant for all of humanity, even the gnostics had a word for it...Hylics

False self is not a soul, as I said before.

Thanks for the info user. That reminds me of the allegory of the cave which I cannot believe I forgot pertains to this topic.

Is not sure what you mean by false self?

It all makes sense now!

give us the TLDR, some of us have full-time jobs

No that's not what I mean at all.

It's not about minorities it's about masses.
You just have to look at the massive shift in psychology and politics in Europe between the 50's and 70's.
You can only be subverted if you let yourself be subverted.

Dąbrowski's theory of personality development emphasised several major features including:

personality is not a given universal trait, it must be created—shaped—by the individual to reflect his or her own unique character (personality shaping)
personality develops as a result of the action of developmental potential (DP) (overexcitability and the autonomous factor), not everyone displays sufficient DP to create a unique personality.
developmental potential is represented in the population by a normal (bell) curve. Dąbrowski used a multilevel approach to describe the continuum of developmental levels seen in the population.
developmental potential creates crises characterized by strong anxieties and depressions—psychoneurosis—that precipitate disintegration
for personality to develop, initial integrations based on instinct and socialization must disintegrate—a process Dąbrowski called positive disintegration
the development of a hierarchy of individual values—emotional reactions—is a critical component in developing one's personality and one's autonomy, thus, in contrast to most psychological theories, emotions play a major role in this approach
emotional reactions guide the individual in creating his or her individual personality ideal, an autonomous standard that acts as the goal of individual development
the individual must examine his or her essence and subsequently make existential choices that emphasize those aspects of essence that are higher and "more myself" and inhibit those aspects that are lower or "less myself" based upon his or her own personality ideal
critical components of individual development include autoeducation and autopsychotherapy
