China is on a path to self-destruction and only a return to correct ways, as devised by Mencius and Confucius and the Yellow Emperor before, will ensure harmony. Until then plagues, suffering, and disharmony will become more frequent and the people will feel fortunate to eat gutter oil and vermin.

Three gorges dam, 24th of June, Sentinal-2. This photo is almost a week old, so the current water levels will be higher. The small island to the left of the dam is a pretty good height indicator and will submerge at 175m, with the dam itself being 185m tall. Sentinal-2 next pass is in a few days.

How has China not collapsed yet? They got ravaged by Swine flu and Bird flu destroying their pork and chicken supplies aka food shortages, economy in shambles, covid19 which is now spreading out of control in Beijing and now these devstating floods?
That dam could collapse overnight but the CCP would still be in control the Chinese are completely brainwashed, the killing of millions of Chinese would be an act of mercy.
You don't deprogram multiple generations of slaves overnight, the CCP may get destroyed but their influence will continue.

Water could seep in from underneath, and along the sides of the river bank. At the same time, cracks in the structure itself provide fault points, kind of like perforations on a sheet of paper. There is also immense amounts of silt accumulating at that base of the dam; this may interfere with drain ability, gum up the works.
All it takes is for one of these to reach a critical point of failure, then the structure (and surrounding area) will rapidly fail in succession. End result will be in every mechanical and civil engineering textbook, chapter on structural failure of a massive scale.

What government agency puts information on their website as an image!? This image is unfortunate because Google cannot translate.
