Buy a sharp one.

Buy a drill press and build a gun.

Pretend you're a chef....

axe?

That knife comes dull as fuck. Get a sharpening stone if you want it to be useful. Also, the matches don't fucking work.

You need help buying a knife? Are you joking?

Get a Kukri. Mines not even technically one and I smash through everything.

Why does your pic have an extra screw top? Both knives have the screw top on

Be sure its full tang

Go to Serbia and buy one.

Gerber Strongman is the best knife under 100 bucks and is great for both self defense and survival stuff like woodworking, though anything that isn't department store budget garbage and has a blade length of 3" or more will do. A drop point style blade is the most versatile, and won't make you look like a psychopath in front of a court like some talon style knives will.

Why would you buy a meme knife?

lol OP you're an idiot. Knives are useless for self defense. There are no winners in a knife fight. If someone attacks you with a knife you'll have 17 holes before you can even get yours from your pocket.

Not that piece of shit.

The real world is not working like a video game. Knife against knife is bullshit idea as self defence.

What are you planning to defend against?
>a gun
A knife would be almost useless.
>another knife
Again, almost useless.
>a blunt-force weapon
Useless.
>multiple unarmed attackers
Might work as a deterrant at first, but just as likely that you'll get fucked up anyway.
>a single unarmed attacker
Could be useful.

Something like a collapsible baton or even an electroshock weapon would be more useful in my opinion.

>Why would you buy a meme knife?
The one in OP's pic is actually extremely well balanced and perfectly weighted. I've collected a lot of knives over the years that I carry for backup self defense and it's mu hands down second favorite

You'd probably do better with one of Cold Steel's Walking sticks, take a look.

In the UK it is illegal to carry a Knife with the intent of using it for self-defence, probably the same in your country if it's European.

That said if in theory one desired to purchase a knife for other reasons, such as collecting, that just so happened to have characteristics that made it useful for fighting, I would say one could not go wrong with a KA-BAR USMC. They cost about a hundred give or take, but are very sturdy and time tested blades that contain many useful features for combat, hence their long history of military use.

Those hollow grip knives are worthless. Full tang is the only way to go.

In Belgium most people don't carry any kind of weapon and don't carry any gun. It's for deterring multiple unarmed attackers. I want something I can casually carry without it taking much space or being visible, so a baton would probably be too big, but will look into collapsible if it's legal here.

Don't buy cheap meme knives, like survival knives.

U need a liconse 4 that

That's a cheap meme knife. Also, carry some pepper spray.

Also, type in surival knives into youtube and stop buying cheap shit. A knife will cost you around 100 USD or more.

get a crossbow

>It's for deterring multiple unarmed attackers
A knife could be useful in that kind of situation if you know what you're doing. However, from the quick search I just did, it looks as though Belgium's laws regarding self-defense are about as fucked up as the UK's, i.e. you pretty much can't carry anything legally.

also, lock for Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife

>look for

What makes good characteristics in terms of a fighting blade?
- A non-serrated edge, nor partly serrated [although this would go some way towards ripping and tearing flesh it has the downside of snagging on clothing etc and making the blade harder to withdraw from the target, it is also harder to maintain a good edge on]
- Some form of cross/finger guard to prevent your fingers slipping onto the blade
- A full tang construction
- 5-7 inches is perfectly adequate, anything more than that is unnecessary, you want an agile blade

This is another KA-BAR, do you see the area in the red box? that indendtation in the blade is called a blood groove, it allows the blood to drip down off the blade instead of running over your fingers and compromising your grip on the knife.

you want to carry a knife?
carry a multitool
it's useful for a lot of stuff

Collapsible baton? electro shock weapon? A Bladed weapon is superior to a taser or a baton in every respect if one is fighting for ones life. You are a fucking retard who clearly has no experience or training in respects to armed hand to hand combat.

...

full tang has no relevance to a knife fight unless you miss and accidentally bring the blade down at full force on an iron pipe or cinder block, many "fighting" knives are rat-tail or skeleton tang

cold steel large espada

Mora Buschcraft Black or Garberg

Are you in Molenbeek by chance?

If they're unarmed it's probably better to just get punched than risk having your knife turned against you and getting yourself shanked.

I've seen them go for like $80 usd last time i checked

No, its a fuller to make it more lightweight

Your bloodgroove thing is hollywood nonsense

Wanna fight?

Never ever ever buy a hollow handled blade, it is a fucking gimmick. Please educate yourself -

1. Hollow-handle, specifically, the lack of strength provided by the short tang required to create storage space in the handle.

2. Uncomfortable Grip, tubular designs, terrible for good grip while fighting or prolonged use

3. Since these knives are literally mall ninja gimmicks they are often constructed from poor quality steel

4. Sawback spines are terrible for combat

5. If you want a survival kit get a proper one, not a cheap gimmick piece of shit stuffed into a shitty knife

Even a NEET can afford one of those, it's $10 at Harbor Freight.
harborfreight.com/8-in-survivalhunting-knife-61733.html

Varies place to place, here in the UK they cost about 100 brand new, give or take a couple quid. In the USA they are cheaper, all knives are cheaper in the USA due to the higher demand, bigger market for them.

Knuckle dusters (one for each hand)

Sharpening stone (learn how to sharpen)

Knife
- Gerber Ghostrike (can carry one on the wait, one on each ankle etc)

- Gerber Strongarm (too large to daily carry)

- Cold Steel Tai Pan (for beheading)

- Gerber Center-Drive multi tool

- AutoXscape (can break windows really easily among other things, good for destroying migrant glass, cutting their seat belts, and generally scaring the shit out of them and their families).

Hahaha no. I don't plan on using the knife, it's pretty safe here. I just want to make sure. There are protests around here too, not as violent, but if someone asks me to support BLM and there's 20 people surrounding me I don't wanna take a knee.

Its 2020, a knife you be your last resort.
To think that youll get into a fight with someone else who has a knife is pure fantasy and to think that youll be able to get out of it unscathed is delusional.
>get a shotgun
>get a dmr
>get a pistol
All of these things would be better to use than a knife

Don't listen to retards. If the average person grabs the end of your baton they can easily use leverage and twist it out of your hands

Here's how shit really plays out:
>gun
You lose. There is no defense against someone who takes action first and has a gun
>knife
Definitely a HUGE deterrent and the person with a knife will fuck off in 99% of cases if you draw your own knife.
>multiple attackers
Easily dispatches up 3 average guys whether from fear or just good old stabbing. 5+ guys and the knife is still great for swinging back as you run away and not letting them grab onto you
>blunt object
Works great. Blunt objects are very safe to block, simple block where the attacker is holding and not the tip. Removes pretty much all force and getting closer is what you wanted anyways. Now stab furiously. Another knife advantage: extremely fast swing rate, easy to rack up 50-60 stabs in just 30 seconds flat
>1 big guy or less
99% chance they'll leave you the fuck alone as soon as you draw it. If not, you're near guaranteed the win

All proper men carry a knife. They have a million uses outside of self defense as well.

Yes, I'm sure you're an expert knife duelist in whatever mmo you play, faggot. However, in the real world, wielding a knife in a street fight against someone who isn't unarmed WILL result in you getting fucked up in one way or another if you don't really know what you're doing.
A collapsible baton is easily carried on your person, will keep an attacker away from your body, and will still do serious damage when you have little training.

This

Get a folder, preferably by Emerson

Best option. One like pic pick related

Police will fuck you in the ass if they find you carrying one.
Take a screwdriver and sharpen the end, use it as a stiletto. If pigs search you and ask say you're a fucking handyman much and it got grinned from driving so many screws.
Also when niggers overpower you and shove it into your asshole it will deal less damage than a knife. Melee weapons are shit for a self-defense situations in general if it's not one on one. Get a strong pepper spray and use it as a primary weapon - you can spray a whole crows at once. Prep them with the spray and then either run or use the screwdriver to finish them off.

Just get a fucking Mora knife

We can't carry shotguns around with us in the EU you utter retard and it would be fuck lot harder to conceal if one wanted to skirt the law, also getting caught with a knife is far better than getting caught with a goddamn firearm, use your head man, this is not the USA we are talking about.

Fairbarn Sykes fighting knife. Stabbing is more lethal than cutting so you want a long thing blade. Any knife you pull out is intimidating af (was robbed once)

Good brother, I visited there and it was beyond belief. I was going to recommend you get an AR-15 for that place.

Your best defence is situational awareness in all honesty. If you need to fight a house key in your fist to the right area will drop someone. Be careful carrying a weapon, it could he used againt you. Stay safe

The knife laws are pretty weird in Belgium. The usual shit such as a butterfly knife is illegal. But it's not illegal to carry a knife if you have a good reason. That's pretty much the law lol.
