I too was a leftist at first, but realising the double think and intellectual dishonesty of the left and the people I hung out with, I chose to intellectual integrity instead of friendship. Its tough, extremely tough, but in the end it's the best thing to do since you can avoid all the horrendous things coming to us in the next 20 years.

You will be prepared and expect it, they wont. You will be ready to adjust and adapt, they wont.
You will be able to help people adjust/adapt, they wont.
You will be able to look after yourself, family and community, they wont.

Maybe most importantly, you won't feel guilt over contributing to the downfall of society and you will KNOW this because you have your head sorted out.

Something else, I dont hate black people. I know a lot of genuine loving and articulate black people who I respect and have compassion for. But if Im to be honest I think a lot of the ills facing the black community are frankly brought on by the black community itself. Men and women being brought into this world in broken homes with absent parrents, raised in a culture that disrespects authority and rewards violence. What am I supposed to call these creatures besides Niggers, Jigaboos, and Pavement Apes?

I am in the same boat. There are a lot of things I don't like about Trump and his policies, but my concerns about this authoritarian takeover by Democrats supersedes that. Whether it's the sweeping censorship and cancel culture, the COVID freakout, or the BLM chimpout, the Democrat assault on our county is unacceptable to me and voting for Trump is the only thing I can do to fight back.

Same. Getting rid of statues, changing the names of buildings, and defunding police won't even begin to alleviate the inequality afflicting blacks. Bernie Sanders would have done a lot to correct some of the inequality, but Democrats and their corporate controllers rejected that. There is nothing progressive about this BLM movement, and anyone who thinks a movement supported by all the major corporations will result in real change is a fucking idiot.

But with recent events I see now that those people are stearing the ship. What event pushed me over the edge? It was the coverage of the riots, the mass media and public cowtow to BLM, and finally it was seeing people pull down a statue of Washington.
