I live in Ohio. The Hillary campaign gave up in June/July around the regular hard core campaigning around that time in 'the' swing state that has voted for president all but twice in the last 120 years plus. She lost by 9%.
What do you think coronavirus and all else is all about?! Stop the campaign all together, because it benefits them. Trump won by 9%, so it won't affect here, but those other states that were closer... Are we retarded, both internally and externally on our gauge?! Thank you for pointing this out, I noticed this when going state by state.
As it stands the Democrats have already lost the election, states like AZ and PA have too many Republicans and not enough Democrats for them to win those states, so the electoral college will swing to the Republicans again. States like NV will come down to less than 10k votes if we rely merely on base registered voters.
However we can only speculate on the fact that Biden is currently 700 million underwater compared to where hillary was in 2016 in terms of spending and his voters are 3 times less enthusiastic- lack of enthusiasm overall destroys candidates, but in states that are close like NV it could mean a lot of flips. Otherwise it means Democrats don't have the money/time to be attacking places like Georgia or Texas or even Arizona (MUH BLU X MEME), they need to focus on the "actual swing states) like Michigan or Nevada, playing offense or defense in places they can actually hypothetically win.
But again there's that spending/enthusiasm gap, their options are limited and Biden is retarded.
