People were told by media not to wear masks, then told by media that if they don't wear masks they should face prison, then these people just said fuck it and started lashing out, because literally wtf are they supposed to do? Then the media began spinning these incidents into a false opposition narrative to focus everyone's attention on, so everyone would forget about how the media conducted themselves during the riots/protests/etc.
"Anti Maskers" are a nothingburger compared to the protesting, and until the elephant in the room is addressed, people will naturally start taking the virus less seriously.
After all, if not protesting against "systemic racism" is a greater threat to world health than the virus, then the virus can't be that big a deal.
