It's what they want. The strong cities initiative against violent extremism was put into place under the Obama administration. Notice that the cities with the civil unrest and calls to abolish the police are all large cities under democrats' leadership, and that have joined the initiative. They're not calling in the National Guard because they don't want US forces. They want the international UN forces, approved by Obama. As soon as White Nationalists show up committing
acts of terrorsism, they get to pull the trigger and bypass the authority of state and federal level government. The cities then essentially get to secede from the executive control of the United States.
At this point, the only course of action the US government would have is for the President to execute Directive 51, that GWB and Dick Cheney put into place. That would essentially turn the US government into a dictatorship under the President. This can't happen, and that's why they absolutely have a Democrat in the White House. Any outsider President would be catching the same heat that Trump has been suffering. They want the Constitution gone, and anyone legitimately protecting it has to go away.
