I started fishing during the quarantine just to have something to do and since I live by the water. I've thrown back everything that I've caught though.

the last few times I hooked a walleye, they twisted the living shit out of my line & were an absolute pain in the ass to land :'(

I've caught a bunch of pickerel & a pretty big pike (at least 8lbs) over the last couple weeks--algonquin region of ON. lately it's been too hot to go fishing, however

That’s a fucking pinner lad.

>pretty big pike
>at least 8lbs
Oh you sweet summer child.

For me its saltwater fishing or bust, there is no fight in freshwater fish its too easy. I love catching blue fin and barracuda.

I'm by no means a fishing buff haha, I do know how big they can get in the Great Lakes or whatever but I've just been fishing out of a pretty small dam-lake.....its pretty deep tho & the fishing is decent even out-of-season

god bless be safe on the water you fucking leaf

Largest fish I caught was a 36” Pike. Fucker had to weight almost 20lbs. Bent my buzzbait 90degrees offset, was a hell of a fish to catch.

Fuck off with your off topic thread, faggot. Posting on Zig Forums while fishing... Christ

It's really humid and definitely a mosquito day so no but I have caught an okay sized pike and 6 bass in a few days using a whopper plopper. Those topwaters are ridiculously effective

so you guys batter and deep-fry everything, right?

you could do that to a rubber tire, and it'd taste good.

I've caught bigger crappies

Almost frogging season borther

Is that a perch? Nice catch.

puny

better eats too

Moved to Texas from the UK recently. Back home fishing is for old men with nothing better to do, and it’s boring as shit. They sit on a soggy river bank all day long around a gay little pond and usually have to chuck all the fish back in the pond at the end of it.

Went river fishing here a few weeks ago with some local guys and it’s totally different, I guess because you can eat what you catch and the stuff you catch is more interesting, plus there’s just more fish so more chance of a bite. I guess I understand why so many guys over here fish now. Is it, dare I say, based and redpilled?

This thing probably tastes like dogshit

the meat was really flavorless and kind of oily but there was a lot of it. fried it up with some catfish fry and wasn't that bad. the caviar was magnificent tho.

Don’t think you’re really supposed to eat paddlefish

Is that a shark?

Go to florida if you want to experience the most intense fishing in your life. Saltwater fish are no joke.

Paddlefish. One of the ugliest things you can catch

yeah but I'm not wasteful either.

and catching them is legal in some state not in others. one a day, two for the whole year in oklahoma. you have to register your catch just like you would any other game you get a tag for.

Bought a medium light rod the other day for pan fishing. Catching baby bass and crappie/sunnies has never been so fun

>crappie/sunnies
best fresh water eats imo. at least in the south. not much trout fishing in oklahoma. there is out by gore in the illinois but they've been stocking trout for like 40 years you'd think the fuckers would be established by now.

Lol, that's nothing. I'm a pro angler. I caught a 5' pickerel weighing 62lbs without even trying. Just dropped in the line and boom pulled it in like nothing. Set another record. The local fishing competitions won't even let me in, they just give me the trophy when I show up to save them the embarrassment of losing to me again. The little fisherman on the trophy even looks like me. I just turned down a 1m sponsorship because I didn't feel like wasting the time to show up and sign the check. Please, if you're going to boast about your "fishing accomplishments" bring something to the table that doesn't look like a canned sardine glued to a fishing line. All I ask. Till next time scrub.

Paddlefish is almost extinct. Can't you eat something else?

Poor fishies.
I’ve got one in the oven along with chips & garden peas. I’m not exactly’ ‘cooking’ but I’m warming up frozen food. I used to live on fishies when training, got so sick of it I’ve had non for months.

I normally catfish. that was my first and only paddlefish and lucked out and got one full of eggs my first catch. i've climbed my mountain user.

>walleye
10/10 would eat

Do they live on mountains? I’d have looked in a river or lake or the sea wouldn’t have thought of mountains. Maybe that’s why they are so rare, everyone’s looking for them in ponds but they have developed spoopy mountain climbing abilities.

show that girls tits in the boat.

Imagine showing off a jack...

Shouldn't keep those. Disappearing. Just go get a burger you douche.
