Blake Neff, the top writer for Tucker Carlson Tonight, was fired from his show today after being outed for posting on AutoAdmit, which is some kind of lawyer Zig Forums.

That's a long story. We have to go back to the mid-1990's, when university admissions were becoming a lot more competitive in the US. 'Test prep' companies were starting their own websites and offering the first online test preparation and admissions consulting services. One of the major companies in this field was known as 'Princeton Review,' or 'PR.'
PR launched its first message boards in the fall of 1996. They used a type of forum software from a company called Allaire, which gave the site a distinctive look and user interface. The PR discussion boards were known for their openness - no registration required, you could pick whatever username you wanted for individual posts, moderation was rather light, etc. So it attracted a group of intelligent posters who also wanted to say things anonymously.
PR eventually cracked down on this freewheeling environment, and by 2003, others had forked the PR forum's software for their own projects. The most successful was a site called 'XOXOHTH' (a sarcastic expression meaning "hugs and kisses; hope this helps), aka "AutoAdmit" (a reference to someone with test scores and grades so high that they are virtually guaranteed admission into a particular school).
The point is that thousands of 'respectable professionals' have posted on PR and AutoAdmit over the decades, including university professors and administrators. Firing someone for posting there is ridiculous.
