Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.
Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage and the socialist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

Once more I have to say this? Socialism and communism only work in post scarcity economies.
In scarcity economies like ours, you still have social stratification only it’s a technocratic class instead of capitalist class.
The state will not wither away because 1) hierarchies are natural and inevitable 2) the technocratic class will be the state and the managerial class of production. At least capitalism has a formal separation between business and government.

Real communists, China, Soviet Union and the rest of Eastern Bloc, pirated everything to the point CIA had to put bugs in the software to mess with them - which succeeded once, destroying some equipment.
They disregarded western IP, patents and so on - cloning, copying, using everything freely... artists, programmers, engineers all took everything they needed.

As soon as someone realizes that they can claim victimhood and society will meet their perceived needs, they will stop working to meet others' needs. Eventually, only a small percentage of people will be doing actual work.
Well even Soviets were consumers, watch Pandora's Box from Adam Curtis - he interviewed Soviet bureaucrats, engineers etc. at the end of Soviet Union - and they tried hard to satisfy consuming needs of the people, but they would fail to produce the proper things as fashion would change and so on.
Socialism is an interesting analysis framework from which you can get some good ideas.
But the bulk of good stuff is with what they call utopian socialists, anarchists and so on... before we have a cultural miracle, a change of heart - nothing will work.
The substrate is what generates the elite and the elite operate on the same culture.
Commies don't give 2 shits about physical property rights so why should they care about IP laws.
Really the whole concept of copyright is a kike controll mechanism. there are plenty of talented artists who don't make a single cent from their work but do it anyway. The problem isn't that artists aren't getting conpensated for their work it's that current IP law is designed to only benefit the megacorporations. they are always the ones bitching about piracy.
Now if only there was a way for artists to be funded directly without having to go through all these middlemen. Perhaps cryptocurrencies will provide an answer.
