The status quo isn't as static as you maybe think it is. So much has come into flux over the last years, the country is already completely different from 15 years ago when I started getting interested in politics. Sometimes I think even our Blockparteien have more of an idea of the changes that are occuring before our eyes than Zig Forumsacks do.

Nothing is certain yet. There is a natural tendency amongst Germans to take pride in their work and boy oh boy are the fruits of our labour thrown out of the window with both hands right now. As soon as there is even a small decline in our material wealth the Germans will be thrown back to what really makes us us and I think that will come sooner than many think. The only people who drone on about money are boomers. People under 35 or so are sick of it.

I think you're making it too easy on yourself here. If the explanation were that simple then we would see more defectors. They are (sadly) not that simply minded and opportunistic. They really do believe that Germany needs to be a subservient nation to its neighbours or else anudda shoa.

I know how the world works. And noone has ever been left alone in this world. No matter what we do, we won't be left alone either and we won't leave others alone. The most amount of being-left-alone possible takes place in a homogeneous society on a personal level where you can trust the other and don't have to interfere and check him all the time.

And don't mind yourself so much about jewish pamphlets and their caricatures. Just laugh them away and think about what we really do want for ourselves. It is an intricate thing but not for the reasons you gave. You're making this a lot about legalistic arguments and opening the door for all kind of scepticisms for all eternity whereas a legitimacy based on traditional justification of power (e.g. hereditary) is what provides a stable conditions - not upheaval.
