According to wikipedia, the only death was Nasim, and 4 other people were injured (3 by shooting). Why would information about the death of one of the victims be suppressed though?

One of the injured was just a sprained ankle, it would be easy for your typical shit-for-brains reporter to get that detail wrong and assume all four were shooting victims, especially early on when they were not sure if Nasim was a victim or the perpetrator. Call it fog of war.

As far as I know, we never knew of her existence, or she of ours. Can we glean some meaning from her life, or her death? That's harder. Maybe for all the coarseness of discourse here, there should be a place in this world for the gentle souls that should be nurtured and protected. If it was a sloppy hit, that would be a good explanation for not knowing the real name and status of the victim in question.
Conversely, that could also be explained by the main victim being involved with de-platforming Nasim (why though?), and she somehow found out and went after him. That person would get a lot of threats from pissed off content creators if his identity was revealed. Or, that could expose some other connections he had, outside of the Nasim ordeal.
