It may not happen if a miracle happens, but this year is the worst year in China since I would say the 80's. And we are only 8 months in. The season will last to October or so, if I'm not mistaken and the dam is definitely strained right now. The Chinese are counting on a miracle and are doing everything possible and impossible to make this piece of shit survive. They may succeed and hide the millions that they killed while saving the dam. If it breaks the deaths will be impossible to hide though. They can try and minimize them but minimizing means that they will have to admit that millions have died. This is why I think it's better for the Western world for the dam to break. It's also better for the Chinese people, at least for the small minority that isn't happy with the come back of the absolute government control.

China faking 4% of their gold reserves that was uncovered recently contributed to this growth. It's going to go higher than that yet. Same with silver. There are shortages on the silver market and there have been for months now. The gold market is also short on metal but it's not as visible as it is on the silver market. The funny thing is that the silver prices, most likely will stabilize around $32/ozt for now. Then we will see another surge. I think it will stabilize because the premiums for the refiners are going down. They are still high, so silver will be allowed to go up as much as it has to, but for now the surge will be stopped. Silver and gold markets are manipulated as much as the crypto market is and because they are a "safe heaven " they are a good indicator where the economy is going, or rather what people think about the economy. That's why I think that the downward pressure from the manipulators exist and the silver will be allowed to go up only as much as it absolutely has to.

Also, the rainy season in the South is over. The rains start South and move North through October. It's over. The dam will not break, at least not this year.

Buy silver when it stabilizes. The thing is that they will try, very strongly to lower the price of both. If you buy silver you won't lose that much. Gold is seriously at a historic ath, while silver still can double (almost) to be at the 2011 levels. Just some food for thought.
