Was going to go to the catholic church first as my grandparents were catholic. I got on their website, they had photos, and it was like 80% hispanic, plus the priest was hispanic, so I went to the protestant church in my town which looked the most white and conservative. Big mistake.

Anyone attending Church is there for earthly reward, and Yeshua says they have received their reward in full, meaning they will no be entering the Kingdom of Heaven when they die. Beware the Churchcuck, do not let them sucker you in to their sinful ways.
If you want a based bible, get a copy of The Scriptures. It is by far the best translation and helps immensely in understanding The Word. Study in private, pray in private using The Lords Prayer. No need to ramble on, just recite the prayer in your mind and Yhwh will take care of the rest.

You really need a fire and brimstone type pastor to make it tolerable. Truth is organized religion is very much for sheep. You can believe in God wholeheartedly and not attend a church. Simply train on Sundays as your way to get closer to God
