Im open to people giving me more info on what is wrong with men but I wrote out what I feel is uniquely negative about what both have been bringing to the table with dating in recent years.

Negatives from women.
Although anyone moving up the income ladder is a a positive thing, there is a social trade off as Women become larger income earners. Women marry up in income and as their income rises their pool of desired men shrinks. Additionally men a large part of mens role in a relationship is expected to be a provider, but as Women have more income security many are opting to not seek marriage because mens role has become semi redundant. This is difficult to reconcile with an almost opposite social problem of women being dependent on bad men. Divorce is another negative, it hovers around 50% and women are the main initiators of divorce (around 80%). High Divorce rate and divorce law is a larger deterrent towards marriage for men. Divorce is also more damaging then both parties usually expect and end up much worse off separated especially if there are kids to take care of.

Problems of Men
Men with a rise of standard of living but not income and change in social emphases away from them have moved in multiple ways away from being a stable provider. With it harder to grow a career, more men are content to get by rather than improve. They have also turned increasingly towards quick relationships with women or adapted to a solitary lifestyle that isnt very supportive and often requires support.
