Read everything by Eustace Mullins and Sam Francis.
In his book 'The Technological Society' Jacques Ellul basically goes in great detail into the phenomenon he describes as Technique and it's absolute supremacy over human affairs.
According to Ellul, the technical phenomenon isn't just muh iPhone or muh electricity, but the TOTALITY of all techniques and methods, including political, economic, and propaganda techniques, just to name a few.
As a whole, they comprise a 'total' phenomenon that determines -among many many other things- the inner workings of governments, the dynamics of human relationships, etc etc.
An absolute 'must read' kind of book.
