did human civilization peak in 1999?
Did human civilization peak in 1999?
Y2K fucked up the simulation
2000
Was the last year before 9/11
Anything after 9/11 was the downhill
If you weren't a glownigger or underage fag, you would know that Agent Smith made the extremely clear distinction by clarifying that after that point, the world was more the machines than the humans.
I was 10 and looked at the calendar in Windows 98 to see if it has the 2000's in it and always knew y2k was for the npc
No. This year. The movie Onions Green was set in the year 2020. Cannibalism is a definite turning point for civilization.
I'm early 40s.. yes..the 90s were peak.
This.
You had the most freedoms you will ever have just before 9/11
> pre 9/11 - check
> pre social media - check
> good music - check
I think so. I was only 6 then, but I haven't actually liked a single thing that's happened since then.
nope, AWB was in place during the 90s
i partied like it was 1999 all through 1999, so i don't remember much about it
peak was 9/10/2001. if you could somehow memory hole 9/11 then Id say 6/2004. not a day past that.
Also early 40s. It isn't just nostalgia. The 90s were objectively more free and there was a lot less sensitivity about everything. The movies were better because they weren't sanitized for global markets. The internet was less commercial. No social media making everyone retarded. No fucking autotune on every track, music wasn't quantized to a click track. A lot of people in the US were more naive about the world, for better or worse. People really did seem to have more hope for the future.
more like 1950-1980ish
in short, yes.
While not as degenerate-free as 1940, it had technological advancements from the whole century.
And part of Back to the Future 2 takes place in 2015, have you seen the accuracy of that shit? Just a movie bruh
Just sayn at no point in history has it been the consensus that we were peaking. Surely the work of a pessimist to assume humanity can and never will surpass the present moment they exist in.
90s music good?
Just kill yourself dude. OMG, just end it.
Try organic food! Or as they called it in the 40s...Food!
Um sorry sweatie. The Matrix is strictly a trans metaphor, stop looking into it any other way.
Life is not what it seems when you peaked behind the curtain. Life is just pure energy that goes to center point in time. Mountain of light were it all began
The music was so good. Ill never forget chilling at a pool party ska music blasting...awkward smiles from blossoming girls in bikinis parents and problems a million miles away.
My fingers would trace over a pink and green cd cover with surfer font and i could almost taste a sour waternelon taste in my mouth...
And through it all it was so bittersweet. Rolling down a hill with beautiful art student in a faded filter t shirt knowing it would never last but fighting for it anyways.
I remember the matrix and fight club being about as mind blowing but it wasnt until the dark knight when one of my teeth got knocked out that i knew the 90s were over.
The 2000s werent bad either, the band Thursday, Brand New, snd a handful of others were the last stand of a society who knew the right path forwarx but could not slay the beast.
Now we are post-ironic, post-sanity, and the music is terrible if not catchy and over-engineered. Synthwave is good but there is too much of it and some of it is made by robots but its so hard to tell.
You know that movie was directed by two faggots right? Literally, they both cut their dicks off and wear womens clothes now. Just thought I'd throw that in there.
We haven't experienced a species-wide decline yet. This isn't a question that can be answered for centuries when plenty of hindsight exists.
It's pointless to even speculate on something like this. Better yourself, better your community. Be the change you want to see in the world instead of the massive fucking faggot you currently are, posting on Zig Forums and doing next to nothing.
The matrix is real and you done entered it.
It's way too intricate for ever realize it you fuckn simpleton.
The 90's is where gaming was almost peaking, finance was ok, degenerates had their free space but also were contained, I would play with wooden blocks and toy soldiers. Yes, the 90's were a good time. Playmobile and lego, Christmas and snow, tv, toonami, N64, sega, I was young, very young, but I was free. Playing in the fucking yard, does that even happen anymore?
that was just an allegory about how trannies peak at age 19.
Dude , there was Nirvana , Stone Temple Pilots , Alice in Chains , in my opinion 1994 had the best asthetic , there was the ps1 , tv shows and movies were pretty good , if you had a thing for obscure anime it was a good time to look around , comic books were still good , and most of all there wasn't these gay ass sjw's we have now
90s were peak because white men were peak wiggers
economically speaking, they were.
YES
Gaming in the 90s is to Gaming post 2005
As
Jordan is to LeBron
The former revolutionised a culture/pastime the latter rode the wave of interest and produced a squeaky clean plastic soulless recreation of what we loved.
Case and point g-funk versus mumble speech impediment rap.
yes, the pedo tranny prophets saw this ahead of everyone
Literally radical leftists ruined everything.
Interesting theory.
Around 2008-2010 a lot of things went south culturally. Fewer good movies, fewer good games, internet became more streamlined, fewer good tv shows. Everyone is addicted to their phones and porn now. Dating apps 24/7. We are definitely on a technological plateau.
