I was into roguelikes and dwarf fortress for a long time and saw them come in and ruin those communities. They find a niche hobby and take it over because If the crowd is already small it’s not hard to gain some kind of leadership position with it. Nowadays all my hobbies are the sort of thing I can do alone like woodworking or sailing and stuff. It’s okay though I think it’s good I play less video games.

I honestly have absolutely no problem with trannies. Just think about it, these guys are getting "sex change" and completely disregarding the fact that as they age they will have more and more difficulty passing as a female. I don't think sadness and isolation has to do with this. These guys are legitimately mentally ill. They live in an alternate world. You can clearly see how immature they are they might not have been able to progress through the natrual stage of development where one recognizes themselves as belonging to a sex.

Do you think gaming and other shit about the internet lend a hand to it? What I mean is on the internet you cultivate an identity. It seems like there are way more trannies now that the net is full blown. The idea of “be whoever you want” is pushed in lots of games. You assume the role of another character and empathize with them. Is part of this the result of mentally ill children being immersed in fake identities as characters in games or shows that aren’t their own? Trannies always seem linked to some kind of intense fandom—makes me think it has some part to play.
