How do we make capitalism trendy again?
How do we make capitalism trendy again?
when you stop hurting people in the name of profit and stock price
Don't, please.
By bringing back the soviet union and teaching commies why any other thing is a bad idea.
Make a 5 year free-for-all where copyright laws, environmental laws, zoning laws, labor laws cannot be enforced in certain special trade zones
break up monopolies

By helping the poor and showing that Capitalism isn't just about a handful of people taking advantage of everyone else.
If a large amount of people are left feeling like they are taken advantage of with no real benefit to them they will seek to destroy it.
do you literally believe that greed doesn't exist in other economic systems?
try setting yourself on fire
No stopping the decline now. The current system has to burn to the ground and true capitalism will come back eventually.
Get rid of the jews
Why should greed be taught and encouraged?
greed is a sin
a system that encourages sins is a garbage system
By showing that it's still possible to archieve great things through hard work. Of course, this is not possible anymore. The juice controll everything now and will parasitise on your hard earned shekels.

Stop fleecing the taxpayer to bailout megacorps
Ambition = Moral pursuit of wealth
Greed = Pursuit of wealth
Crime = Immoral pursuit of wealth
I capitalism works with a necessary minimum state control, it maximizes ambition and minimizes greed. Greed will never fully disappear, just like crime.
Charity to other capitalist promotors
It'll probably come back around once Trump leaves office and Republicans revert to the free market globalism that grows the economy. I don't think anyone here will be cognizant of the doublethink, just as they aren't now.
Ah, the swedish caliphate at it again.
Allow some more middle/poorclass people to make real money and advance in the world.
I don't think so Tim.
fight taxation
i agree that greed cannot be removed
but right now, the capitalism practiced by most encourages greed to a dangerous degree
i've never said regulation was a bad thing
Easy peasy, just give us back properly regulated capitalism with things like a strong social safety net, free healthcare and education and a well-funded social security system. What's that, you want to keep on with the naked rapine of the new gilded age? Nah fuck you, go get skinned alive by Maoists.
I phrased that badly: Currently bureaucracy is going overboard, the real problems lies in too much state intervention and power. That power will be corrupted and misused by different actors, and yes also by some capitalists. The question is what is the root problems, the power, which is then misused, or the bad actors which try to grow and misuse the available power. Those actors do imho always exist. However I think a minimum amount of state regulation (much less compared to now) will always have to exist.
