I spent a lot of time in the Melbourne CBD for work and there weren't all that many blacks there. It was overwhelmingly Chinese, then poos, then whites. Truth is they can't afford to live in the city and either get placed in commission housing when you start to go north like preston and collingwood. They can't live anywhere in the south/south east unless they go to dandenong or further out and even dandy is becoming expensive.
