The woman who completed the course was a veteran of 21 years of service who did it "to show that women can do this as well", and on the same terms as the males.
It should also be noted, that the course has nothing to do with the frogman special ops unit and she is not trying out for this.
It's a combat diving course and nothing more with that.

Only for her. They say they won’t lower the standards for women buts it absolute bullshit they do. The British army requires men to run 2km 11m 15s minimum. For women it’s 14m 15s. Well that not the same standard is it? Women should have to do it in 11m 15s as well.
