The real reason is that their customers largely rent clothes for events. Women getting a dress/outfit for a big party, a wedding, a corporate event, a gala of some kind, etc. RTR is a way for women to stunt on each other with some great one-off outfit, even for just a big night out at a club or whatever.

I don't know how the one in my area has stayed open all these years. There are mom and pop pizza joints on every corner that have way better pizza for the same or less money. The only reason little Ceasars does well here is because it's dirt cheap and caters to broke ghetto trash.
