I spent 3+ weeks in Seoul and met some K-Pop fans at a hostel I stayed at. I already hated K-Pop prior to coming there, but after hearing what they had to say, my hatred was increased significantly.
You see, K-Pop isn't about creativity, innovation, or anything like that. These people are complete drones, insectoids birthed in colonies. Colonies with the sole purpose of spawning K-Pop groups. It's not organic in any way, it's forced and fake. These "artists" are completely controlled by these agencies, to the point where they sometimes aren't even allowed to have a boyfriend/girlfriend, because they might lose some fans over it. Yeah it's a fucking mess, add to the fact that all K-Pop songs are complete garbage, more often than not copy pastes of older western pop. I mean it blew my mind to hear about this literal fame factory just pumping out these so called musicians on a conveyor belt. No soul, no originality, no individualism.
