At base, there must be _some_ assumption.
"Objective Truth exists, and is attainable in practice" is a HUGE epistemological assumption, and applies to all domains of science. Probably true. But still an assumption.

It doesn’t apply to all of science. Science isn’t about postponing experiments and just put wished for results in the “assume” category.
