It's a good read sure, and if you wanted to learn about guerrilla struggles it's somewhat useful, but I'm not certain it's necessary reading.

I certainly recommend the book for those already in the movement, but trying to introduce new people to it using a book that already assumes you know the problems in the west and includes so much violence could scare people off who otherwise would enjoy it after a better education and introduction.
