I am starting to think that civil war is a real possibility. Mainstream liberal leaders are encouraging violence. They're telling what are effectively paramilitary organizations to "burn it down" and to "blow up the system." The U.S. is in a constant state of crisis. With Justice Ginsberg's death, we've entered into a new stage of crisis -- the leanings of the Supreme Court. I am confident that Republicans will fill the vacancy. Democrats and liberals are panicking and making threats, some of which violent, in response. One of the most power Democratic politicians has labeled Trump and his supports as "enemies of the State." AOC instructed millions of her followers to become "radical." Such statements can't even be considered dog whistles -- rather, they serve as implicit calls for violent, "direct" action.
I am even more fearful because if Trump wins, there will be, I think, persistent and enduring "civil unrest." And make no mistake about it: Trump's chances at winning are much better than the media is reporting. Even today, ABC/Washington Post released a poll in which Trump is +1 in Arizona and +4 in Florida. Let me say this: If Trump wins Pennsylvania (last I read, Biden is only +2), he will be President for another four years. But election night presents an unpredictable scenario -- as a result of mail-in ballots, we will likely not receive an accurate picture of the final results until days or even weeks thereafter. Democrats and liberals will meltdown on election night because it will appear that Trump won in a landslide. But what if that is overturned after mail-in ballots are completely counted? Then Trump supports will feel that the election was illegitimate. And what if the Supreme Court must make a decision? Will Democrats accept a result in which the Supreme Court favors Trump? No -- they'll say the decision was rigged because Trump violated Ginsberg's dying wishes.
