In a review paper published today, researchers put spotlight on the potential long-term neurological consequences of SARS-2, dubbing it the 'silent wave'. They are calling for urgent action to be taken to have available more accurate diagnostic tools to identify neurodegeneration early on and a long-term monitoring approach for people who have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. archive.vn/eRcgY archive.vn/msyqb
Corona is just "flu +", it's does not justify lockdowns and too many restrictions. Just put on the mask and live normal.
More people are dying because they are too scared to go to the hospital for routine checks and such. In normal year people young people dire from flu as well. so now it's little bit more.

>SARS-2 >Krogan says that while other viruses — including HIV and the family of viruses that cause smallpox — also use filopedia as mechanisms of spreading infection, the way this virus so rapidly prompts the growth of these tentacles is highly unusual. And the shape of them, branching off the cell and each other like trees, is also apparently strange. Other infectious diseases like HIV don't cause these kinds of prolific, mutant growths. >RABIES >The results indicated SRV9 addition has activated more filopodia production and elongation, which may induce increased virus uptake from the surrounding environment. >Meanwhile, the coincidence with the behavior of VSV suggests that the Rhabdoviridae viruses possibly share the same mechanism in the process of viral reaching to the cell body. Movement along filopodia may represent an efficient infectious pathway, by which viruses can rapidly and directly reach the endocytic zones for entry into cells. Reminder that the filopodia for SARS-2 isn't "unusual" when taking Lyssaviruses into account.

Prolonged SARS-CoV-2 replication in an immunocompromised patient >a case of chronic COVID-19 in a patient with lymphoma and associated B-cell immunodeficiency. Viral cultures and sequence analysis demonstrate ongoing replication of infectious SARS-CoV-2 virus for at least 119 days. The patient had three admissions related to COVID-19 over a four-month period and was treated twice with remdesivir and convalescent plasma with resolution of symptoms. The lack of seroconversion and prolonged course illustrate the importance of humoral immunity in resolving SARS-CoV-2 infection. This case highlights challenges in managing immunocompromised hosts, who may act as persistent shedders and sources of transmission. archive.vn/G53UM medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.09.20.20196899v1.full.pdf

If I'm right, there's a clear way to stop the D614G mutation, kek. >In summary, our study provides evidence that a single amino acid exchange within the G protein of a nonpathogenic RV can result in a reversion to the pathogenic phenotype. The increase in pathogenicity is due to a significant increase in viral spread both in vitro and in vivo. Our results also indicate that the generation of a revertant RV carrying this exchange can be prevented by introducing a Ser instead of the Asn at position 194

ok, so the thing is, this virus can and does infect neurons, on top of the whole vascular damage thing, and the pancreatitis and hepatitis and the bleeding gut and whatnot (which are just endothelial issues of some sort or another) so, expect a lot of lurid shit. parkinson's. lock-in syndrome even. tourette's-like repetitive behaviors. poor impulse control in general

See, I don't really want to stop this. I don't care if I'm right about it, I'm not out for recognition or a nobel prize, it's all fluff really. I know what I know and I'm telling you guys, and if you don't want to believe me or go for the nobel prize yourself, go for it, because I sure as hell won't. The simple fact is that the virus is doing these things, like how the the SARS-CoV spike protein did not have the additional 4 charged residutes in it's S1 subunit as SARS-CoV-2 has, which seems to be allowing the it to bind to sialic acid and N-acetylglucosamine to cross the BBB by adsorptive transcytosis. Mind you, there's been lots of research done by modifying RGP peptides to cross the BBB, sort of seems like this is the case here too, desu. Then of course we've got the filopodia which you thought were like (nano) wires to connect to electricity that really doesn't have a lot of matches in terms of other viruses, neither smallpox nor HIV causes the same type of filopodia.
