that the data is unknown is curious but makes complete sense if it's an anti-cheat program, it's looking for signatures indicating people are cheating
it would be a shit program if it sent unencrypted packets stating "detected latest_hack.exe running in memory using method_or_signature_X"

this is completely normal on itself.
For my Git (version control system for software) I rent a very small virtual private server which only has an IP adress, no DNS whatsoever. Thats fine because its just for me, so instead of typing "git push "mycoolserverwhatever.com" I just "git push 162.34.22.8:80".
