Current state of mens fashion

Why has modern fashion and pop culture degenerated into pic related?

Fashion has always been for women.
You don't need more than jeans and a t shirt.

i have a ponytail which my wife cuts with a single scissor cut every 3 months when it becomes too long, i only have long hair because my mom likes it. I run around in either sandals (with socks) or woorkboots, no in between. I buy my clothes used, in thrift stores. lol what even is "mans fashion" you gay or something?

Very wrong; fashion is about subcultures and displaying status or wealth.
>inb4 Steve Jobs or Zuckerberg

The way you dress and carry yourself will determine which type of women go for you

Idk man shoes nowadays are like plastic toys and people think that shit looks good

I grow my hair out long so that I can cut and donate it to children
I enjoy art but I usually draw subliminal Zig Forums things in reddit commissions. I feel like I'm hiding in plain sight.

tl;dr niggers, women, and kikes.

Manners and fashion are linked at the hip, and they work in cycles. When fashion and manners become too oppressive, you begin to see a resuming of fashion and fashion to show that you're not stupid trash. This has more or less broken down as of late because nigger idealization and when you idealize niggers you idealize mediocrity. Women also get to steer fashion a lot more whereas before it was a male dominated area. So, you get this dilemma where men actually have very little input into what is fashionable, what is fashionable has become whatever is shilled by niggers, and what women want is whatever is shilled.

*sharts in mart*

this made me laugh except for I have pic related, it's one thing I indulge in from this modern gay culture, I just think it's cool (and no I'm not fat, I can actually pull it off)

Fashion is, has been, and always will be a massive cope and if you're male you shouldn't care about it. Be fit and wear clothes that fit. Nothing else matters.

The kind of slob that goes shopping in sandals and sweats

Does your mom still pick your clothes or do you shop at Walmart by yourself like a big boy?

i look better in sweats than you do in a suit

>i look better in sweats than you do in a suit
You don't; being fit doesn't mean you still aren't a slob

There is nothing wrong with caring about how you look

Cope. If you care about how you look buy a weight bench. A shirt and pair of jeans that fit is all you need when you're in good shape. Guys in Gucci clothing will still get mogged by you

Just make out already.

>If you care about how you look buy a weight bench
I lift, don't drink or smoke, and have a very strict diet. Knowing how to dress can very well be the difference between getting a job, promotion, or a girl.

If you don't care about your appearance it very much shows
>You're the one that is coping, slob.

I've been practicing minimalism for awhile now. I won't purchase something unless it serves a direct purpose. I dont own anything that doesn't serve a direct function, (unless as a gift from my family). This realization came to me while I was at a pawn shop (dont remember what for) and I saw a statue of the gun from the game "portal" for $500. It blew my mind. What possible purpose could this serve? What difference does it make if it is sitting in the pawn shop or in someone's room? After some thought I've thrown out/sold anything I own that doesnt serve a practical purpose.

Cope and learn how to greentext newfag. Also post physique

That’s utilitarianism not minimalism you dipshit

Beware, dressing "too well" (understand : better or with more taste than your management / interviewer / peers) might also cost you the job / promotion.
Jealousy is everywhere.

Oh, my bad.

I'm a minimalist too; clothes are a representation of effort, status, and confidence. for example, I'm going into firefighting and am attending a meeting about fire academies where I pass out a resumes and meet fire captains and try to sell myself; showing up in sweats and tennis shoes isn't going to make me appear confident or serious in what I'm doing. In that sense clothes are very much a tool and necessity Not an argument and no, gayfag.

usually a popped collar and some gucci cologne is all you need. dont forget to blowed out your hair

*slogs in bog*

this, it's an all approach you can't rest on any one laurel, desu I go for thinspo more than lifting but either way highly active

Very true - overdressing can be a problem, but I think knowing what's appropriate goes with knowing how to dress

ITT lazy degenerates in a crab bucket who don’t know how to be more pleasant to the people around them

Enjoy wearing your crocs because “they’re comfortable” you fucking spergs KEK

>No
Don't speak if you can't back it up

>clothes are a tool
I agree with everything you said. I think its important to look presentable (within reason). I dress nicely because I do believe how you present yourself says a lot about you as a person, but that can work both ways. People that under dress don't care enough about how they are perceived by others and people that over dress care too much.

Oh no, a random slob on an anonymous forum doesn't believe I'm in shape; what ever shall I do?

>People that under dress don't care enough about how they are perceived by others and people that over dress care too much
Very true

Had a good laugh.
This shit does not fly in my world as a (((banking))) sales, you cannot come dressed as a 16 year old zoomer.
Might work for firefighter, great choice user, I hope you succeed.

>what ever shall I do?
you should hit the gym until you're no longer embarrassed to post physique. until then i win

Why do /fa/ niggers always get so heated when you don't think that the thousands of dollars they spend on clothes is a good investment?

>Might work for firefighter, great choice user, I hope you succeed.
I appreciate that friend, thank you. Been working the whole time but I just finished an associates in fire technology and got EMT certified; currently looking for an academy and stations I can volunteer in for experience.

I would have been fine even with a proper suit and hat being the norm.

Zoomer fashion for men and women is to buy everything you can with a brand name on it and wear it all at once. Even if you look like a fucking clown.

>Now the rest of this thread condensed:

Wear clothes appropriate to the situation such as a suit for interviews and smart casual clothes for dates. Wear t-shirt and jeans or equivalent when doing nothing. Get in shape or no clothes will ever look good.

>He wears the autism jeans.

where can I get a 1643 suit
