It took me a bit to find the trailer, but if anyone is interested there's actually a documentary coming out about this town that seems to capture what I meant about being happy despite the poverty. Money isn't as big of a concern as it is in other places. Yeah its important, but the cost of living is really cheap by comparison. If you don't mind commuting to a city you can live very comfortably here, and if you just want to work unskilled minimum wage type jobs you can at least get by if you manage your fiances right.
