I had mine tested every 2 weeks while working a lead abatement program.
I never wore the protective gear because it was too hot. I also lived in a house that had copper pipes soldered with lead. Grew up in a house like that too.
I also fished a lot and used lead sinkers. I would even bite the split shots.
Not a trace of lead in my tests. Not once
