How smart is Zig Forums?
Can you solve for the second derivative in simplest form? This is a 12th grade math question-if you cannot do this, you aren’t white
How smart is Zig Forums?
42.
I haven't done calculus in 20 years so no
21
Why would a white person need this?
> doesn't know about wolfram alpha
lol
>having to cheat
Not white
This is more algebra than calculus
i pay streetshitters pennies for this
Any math related degree
This.
t. engineer
i can't believe i used to know this shit and apparently now for no reason
it simplifies to (5 e^x x^(x + 1/2) y tan(4 x) csc(y^x))/π btw
Based and imperialist.
do your own homework
chain rule, faggot
I'm Will Hunting and I will not be baited. Howd ya like them apples you cawk sucka
over 9000
>Indonesia
>engineer
Lmfao
fuck pencil and paper
Fuck you, I have a Masters Of Fine Art....draw a naked woman, nigger
Da fuq is csc
>kike math with made up letters
Don’t care.
>chain rule
this
Mistah Polack Engineer, can you please put those bratwurst together without German occupation of your country?
What in the fuck kind of fantasy is being a single mother.
"I dream about one day denying my kid a relationship with his father"
=\frac{5\left(e^xx^{\frac{2x-1}{2}}\tan \left(4x\right)+8e^x\sqrt{x}x^x\sec ^2\left(4x\right)+4e^x\sqrt{x}x^x\tan \left(4x\right)+2e^x\sqrt{x}x^x\ln \left(x\right)\tan \left(4x\right)+2e^x\sqrt{x}x^xy^x\cot \left(y^x\right)\tan \left(4x\right)\ln \left(y\right)\right)}{2\pi y\csc \left(y^x\right)}
Plug it into wolfram for your answer
i don't know, i was never taught it
cosecant
>this is more algebra than calculus
Not at all.
Ok if you ask this question you haven't even passed pre calc yet, sad
integration and derivation is more calculus than algebra IMO
anyway people in the field don't even remember this shit, the look up the same tables you did in school or use a math application.
I aced all of my Calculus 3 tests so far. I however, had to take Calculus 2 three separate times.
I am not solving your stupid problem. If anything, I would just plug it into Symbolab and get the right answer anyway.
to be fair, secant is hardly used very much at all. I think I managed engineering undergrad without ever needing to calculate one.
>How smart is Zig Forums?
I don't even know what all of that means at all except there appears to be a fraction.
WTF is that, some kind of equation for the way a cloud changes shape?
The equation is only asking for the first derivative.
This is such a tedious, shitty question. It's just the product and chain rule over and over again. Give me a challenging integral, not your AP high school math exercises you faggot.
d/dx isn’t even the second derivative you absolute fucking mongoloid
kek easy
the derivative of anything raised to the power of itself is 0 because quadrature tangent theorem
and the bottom isnt even legal (you cant write csc on the bottom because it simplifies to 1/sec and its already on the bottom
therefore the answer is undefined
i didnt even need to know formal math for this, is this the extent of the burger education system?
therefore its undefined
dont even need to know math to solve this
is this the best you can do??
Nerd alert
>second derivative
>d/dx
Have I lost my entire brain?
d2/dx2? Isn't that how it was written?
in fact, it's the definition of calc. clusterfucking the original question with trig functions just proves OP is a faggot
The getting it to simplest form is all algebra and that’s the more difficult part than plug in quotient rule and 2 chain rules
Obviously, can you make it into a linear equation?
You’re not wrong, OP is a retard
The equation for my calc 1 teacher’s mood swings
I can't, I don't need to, and I am still smarter than you. Du bist eine fickende Schalampe.
damn i forgot about hyperbolic functions
It's not even a matter of being smart. It's just a set of rules to remember and apply. I've studied this shit in the past and forgot it all. Was one quarter from a math degree and I don't even remember how to do this shit at all.
Is this bait? Canadians are borderline retards so I honestly can’t tell
Prooves the failure of American education. But I have a masters in finance.. Jesus Christ, schools will shill for anything
Yeah I forgot to write the squares
50% is a passing grade in the Canadian public school system. Let that sink in.
It's been 5 years since I took Differential Equations, when I got an A minus. Nonetheless, I honestly can't remember how to do this without some review. Largely irrelevant to current business demands.
Even if there is a clean solution, it's one of those problems that exists only in math class and has an exxxxxtra autistic trick that makes it easy. Nothing in reality is described by this form.
>>kike math with made up letters
Damn, I didn't know the Jews invented the Greek alphabet.
No, you first.
x^x not sure if remember how to derive this
y = x^x
log(y) = xlog(x)
1/y'=1 + log(x)
y' = 1/(1 + log(x))
did i get it right
There's a Flat Earth thread right beneath yours. Guess that answers your question.
The second derrivative overloads SymbolLab:
symbolab.com
y is a constant so this really isn't as hard as (((you))) might thing. I'm not doing your homework for you either, faggot.
0/0= undetermined!
No one has answered the question yet and I'm the first to admit not I don't know how to solve this.
I think you would first have to do polinomial division, then try and combine like terms, then take the dirivitive but there could be some kind of secret (chain rule?) that make the process simpler.
IDK haven't taken math in years but I've been trying to get back into it desu
>This is more algebra than calculus
you mean arithmetic.
this is not algebra.
>2020
>taking derivatives by hand
12th grade? I dont even know what the fuck im looking at
I'm not doing your homework faggot
When it's something that is barely used on the regular for the field your in. It is very easy to forget about all that. It's one of those things where it has to be the main thing you use on the regular for it to really be remembered.
Wow good job on making it to calc 2? lol
>it's been years since I've done this in hs
fuck you OP
You missed an e^x in the numerator you nigger
>tan
>csc
So fucking GAY
\textbf{nigger why did you waste your time doing this?}
I used to be able to but, I didn't keep in practice.
I’m in calc 1
Ja, sie ist auch einen Schlampe, ihre scheißhautnegger Mann ist einen droggenhandler mit AIDS. Nigger. I say NIGGER!
I'd move csc to the numerator as sin(y^x)
then a product rule
someone else do the rest of his hw
>order book
>american authors
>goddamnit
>csc/sec/cot all over the place
>imperial units
This is an unnecessarily complex question meant to illustrate if a student has understanding of the product(quotient) and chain rule, in addition to memorized trig derivatives, and possibly trig identities.
Neither of which I have time to go through.
Leaf blower got him in the head last thread. Sad state of affairs really. If only they would stay in their own lawn.
Having a pulse is a passing grade in the American public school system. Let that sink in.
Not doing your chain rule homework, retard.
i got fucked out of math for two years so haha chink symbols dont make sense to me but at least im not a kike shill
Three semesters of Calculus in college, top 10% of my class, loved math.
Now 20 years later no clue since I went into medicine. Sad
Math major here. Youre fucking stupid shut the fuck up please. This problem is a waste of time and does not need any real brain power. Boring and repetitive.
>This is a 12th grade math question
Bullshit, unless you're taking AP Calculus 2 or someshit. This is college level Calculus without a doubt.
And it'd take me longer to do this derivative than this thread will be up for lol.
t. Physics major with math minor
>x^x
Is this ever used in anything interesting or is it just a meme?
>Not at all.
Yes it is, pretend poindexter
This except now I'm a cop.
