What should we be stockpiling to sit out the coming chaos? Now is the time to buy food for the next while...but how long? Tell me what to buy to avoid the empty shelves Zig Forums.

How much water? I have 4 50gal drums and purifiers. Is that enough? Just two of us.
only beans and rice
How much bro? I have 40lb rice 25lb beans and 25lb lentils right now.
buy MRE if you can
>prepping
>nigger
lmao
Lead for the fighters
Chains for those who surrender
A rosary, a rifle (ammo too), and an able body.
Those seem to be a high dollar to calorie ratio. I can do it, but is there something better for a suburban faggot like me?
Nigga, if you want to be self-reliant, fucking try it.
Estimate your calorie needs, look up how many kcals are in a pound of dry beans and rice, and calculate how many pounds you need for however long you want to be able to feed yourself.
Bags of rice and canned beans
what he said. lots of water stuff. maybe some of those super filters for shitty water.
Salt, sugar, rice, beans, flour.
How long do you think is wise to prepare to sit it out? 30 days? 60? 90?
>What should we be stockpiling
Knowledge.
6 months
200 lbs of rice
150 lbs of beans
Solid answer. With some spices we could party until Jesus comes.
>reverting to cannibalism when SHTF
Flag checks out.
Freeze dried food.
Thank you nobullshitanon.
thats per person i might add
i dont see a single real food in that pic
I have 30 days of these camping meals for me and the wife. I don't think that is enough and they are expensive. The rice and beans crowd seems to be popular for extended downtime. How much freeze dried food do you own?
Who the fuck wants to live off of that? Don't be a faggot and just buy normal food.
That's not my kitchen. It's just an internet picture I took. My shit is in the garage in boxes.
i could stretch it out to six month.
Please give a rundown of what you would buy and for how long you would be prepared to hunker down.
I have a 40 bag of rice, hundred boxes of pasta, lots of veg cans and frozen meat + various assorted things. I'm moving in March, so might start eating it soon, hopefully I can stock up again then
If you're not fully prepped already, you're NGMI.
I found canned tuna for $1/can at Costco. It's a good deal for protein imo.
How long does that conceivably last though?
Just normal shit...cans of beans, corn, soup, potatoes, fruit. Get some spam and sardines. FIll your freezer with meat. Get an extra freezer and buy a 1/2 beef from a local farm.
Sure I will. Normies haven't even started clearing shelves in my area yet. Now is the time to bulk shop. do you have any advice?
i've never seen a see-through cupboard for produce. that's interesting. kinda jelly, but i suppose i dont really buy such in pounds. mostly just a handful
If you haven’t stocked up Or don’t already know you’re a retard and deserve what you get
That's good stuff but I don't know how I'd eat it if there was no fridge/no mayonnaise. I'll raid a red lobster and get packets.
you need a deep earth bunker with 7 years food, water, grooming, clothing, defense, a slam pig... even then your chances are slim the only real answer is pic related
the idea is to stash away in many different bags. unopened and stored, that shit will easily last a decade, some sources say twenty years under ideal conditions. youll want separate bags for every few pounds though so you dont expose everything every time you cook
1 gallon a day per person. that includes water needed for meals. conserve and be a fucking jew about it. water is gonna be hard to get in some areas. buy a BERKEY filter for drinking water. Or just drink the blood of your enemies, also nourishing
Obtain a laser
8 x 50gal drum per year per person, needed for 7 year periods
Thanks man. Then I have over 3 months as is. I have a bunch of backpacking water filters so we can drink out of whatever. Any thoughts on the best deals for food? Beans and rice have been suggested. And we have a bunch of protein powder to supp.
>Who the fuck wants to live off of that? Don't be a faggot and just buy normal food.
First off, beans and rice are normal foods. Secondly, you don't buy a shitload of beans and rice because you want to live off it. You buy it because you want to live at all.
Once you have enough beans and rice to feel secure that you'd weather a crisis or disaster, you should start supplementing it with a variety of other foods.
they also make canned chicken, it comes in a similar consistency as canned tuna. good to change things up. on sale, whcih is aobut half the time, canned tuna like $0.70/ea, chicken is $1. otherwise add a quarter to each when no sale
It's not going to be covered much since you're asking about food. But remember, if you can't defend it you're just stocking somebody else's pantry.
This is where my head is at. What would you stock after that for a good dollar to calorie ratio?
Go right on big prepper man. You'll be dumping that crap in the trash.
>i've never seen a see-through cupboard for produce
That's mainly because a root cellar is supposed to be dark.
WEED GUNS AND AMMO NIGGA AAAAAAAHAAAHHHHHHH
Canned chicken in bulk where I live is just over $2 for a 7 ounce can.
Carbs and proteins and if kept dry last for ever.
