Halfass deconstructionists look at society and other things and realize their falseness but usually don't take the same approach to themselves and their perceptions. If you halfass the process, you end up a shell of a person, wiser than a normie, but no longer naively innocent. Sometimes people end up alright, but a lot of people end up as hedonists, broken people, nihilists, sociopaths, etc.

It's not an easy process though, so I don't blame people for not going further. But ultimately it's foolish to not take the next step. It's like you were going from one place to another, but midway you give up and get stuck in no man's land. By seeing the fakeness you leave the house of the normie and begin the path of tremendous struggle. You can sit down on the path but there is little shelter, and what shelter their is doesn't compare to where you started. But the shelter you eventually find if you continue on the path is like no other.

I agree his take on politics is bleak, but at least he doesn’t spend 2 hours getting blackpilled like nick Fuentes. He has even talked about the importance of “reducing suffering” which makes me think his endgame is more than demoralization.

It's difficult to change other people. My guess would be is help people like this understand what it is they truly value, and then help them see how they act and think doesn't serve their values. But we can really only change ourselves, at least in the way that we intend.
I can relate to how he acts because I do similar things but it just seems to be coping. Entertainment numbs, positive messages can be a method of reassuring yourself instead of indication of actual intent. What he does is most likely better than being a doomer though.

I have seen him say some things that could help doomers or people who act like angry bulls. something along the lines of not everyone is your enemy just because they belong to a certain group and similar things. but that's obvious if you're not stuck in some hate maze.
