I recently got an invitation to work in one of the CS-related research centres in Los Angeles, and I like the overall conditions that I was offered. However, there is one thing that makes me very uncomfortable about moving to California. I've read too much Zig Forums to consider it anything other than a totalitarian hell on Earth.
Is it true that there are rainbow flags everywhere? How significant is a chance that I'll get sacked, arrested or killed for making a politically-incorrect joke? Shall niggers pose a real existential threat to me?
