Also, that post number is deceiving. Whilst Zig Forums does make the majority of those, it's not all of them. Plus, you can more than halve them, as I personally am online during European hours and not American hours.

It's incredibly unlikely, but it's still possible. You can take Japan as an example of culture that has retained their traits and reinvented themselves just to survive. Western civilaztions were astonished to see that a basically medieval society has made giant industrial and societal leap in 40 years just to keep up with the big boys of the time. Where most have succumbed to colonialism, japanese didn't, purely by virtue of so up their own ass with their cultural restrictions.

The thing is that doesn't need to be. You were made to push the rock as punishment, but your children will be born in a world where pushing it was all they know, so they will keep pushing it without realizing why they're doing it.

Administration of Zig Forums is kinda like nature. Only while nature is concerned with survival, Zig Forums admins and mods are concerned with ad revenue. As long as it's flowing, nothing will change. So the logical decision would be just stepping back, redirecting this addiction into something more useful - like finding a hobby, for example. I picked up 3d modeling on the side and it feels much better to do something rather than shitpost or argue.
