Is this the modern day gold coin?

Rising civil unrest and rising prices... it's always in desirable and always needed. Is ammunition the modern day gold? Discuss.

Here I thought I was the drunkest person on the board... here's your crown and your (you)

Ammobuyer? Your picrelated seems familiar... like I've browsed it a few times. The brass does give it that great "gold" finish... though I've been thinking about buying steel simply for target practice.

>.223 not 5.56

I mean I'm out for .300 blackout.. we all have our preference user. Better than being nogunz.

It's dirt cheap chink ammo, but honestly not bad and only slightly more expensive than the Russian steel stuff of the same brand. The ballistics are very similar to regular ball ammo.

Didn't even know that Wolf was Chink made. I've nearly filled a few ammo cans with the stuff. Are the casings any good for reloading?

I wouldn't. They're much flimsier than actual Nato casings,

Already comes in denominations of 20 and 50, shiny and bright, can be stored easily without much change to lifestyle...more useful than crypto during hard times

They have commemorative silver and gold plated and solid coins that are legal tender. You're just paying more for them than they are worth.

Ammo have a low life expectancy compared to gold, can deteriorate, usually not meant to withstand the test of time, etc...
also only usefull as currency in case of an absolute apocalypse, even a civil war is not enough to make it valuable since a much MUCH larger amount of ammunition would be found or distributed, the only valuable currencies in a civil wars are usually water and food.
there are examples already, check any nigger country that had a civil war, you can find weapons and ammo everywhere but no food.
so no.

Assuming shit hits the fan, what currency would we use to buy ammo from each other?

Tendies

There are too many types of bullets. If they were more standardized then they could become a tradable commodity.

Durrr one grain of powder makes a huge difference!!!

You gun autists are insufferable. Being an elitist about gun knowledge just makes you look like a fucking creepy weirdo. Do you think that extra 100fps really fucking matters when the bullet is traveling 3200fps already? Idiot.

Always has been.

You know 4500 years ago brass might have been considered just as valuable as gold.

Sitting on well over 1k rounds for each.
Commiefornia stores are hard up, but not empty.

Gonna be just fine, unlike you nigger.

Reloader fag here. If it’s a brass case with a boxer style primer you can reload it. A pretty common way to measure powder charges is by grains.

you can weigh powder charges by grain
the difference goes beyond powder charge
try running 5.56 out of a 223 barrel and let us know how it works for you
