So this testament to Baphomet-esque inversions will be erected not only to spite you, the citizen, but also to further the endless reconceptualization certain tribes promote when discussing European/Ancient history.
Not only does this statue serve as a perfect microcosm of the American justice system's favour for violent assailants, emasculating men in the court and home, contorting the foundations of the theology that birthed your democracy and further emboldening women to step outside their roles naively to be callously violated and discarded.
What's most frustrating is that these people are so Wikipedia educated that the mythology it is subverting does not even properly function as an inversion. Give her Poseidon's head if you must (again supposing you take Ovid's revisionist account of Medusa's origin as gospel). However really if you were to take that account as the prevailing Medusa archetype, would it not stand that Athena's head should take Perseus's place?
Maybe some artistic user's could update this ugly ZBrush mockery of a sculpture with the correct antagonist.
If you can't just outright tear it down or corrode the thing, get creative. Imagine the salt you would be able to generate having Medusa hold the Goddess of Wisdom and War and namessake of every feminist young adult protagonist (if not Athena then certainly Minerva) and be able to justify it as an accurate addition to the piece in keeping with its title "Medusa's Revenge"

>non-american making a thread about america... again mind your own business, aussie. medusa and perseus are fictional characters.

Would be a shame if someone wrote BLM and ACAB on that thing. Would leftists clean it up? Don't they think black lives matter?

The perfect response would be to cut off her head. As it stands in public. A band saw would do it. 20 min. 200 ft extension cord into a generator in a truck. No one would stop you. Fat police would have to watch.
God can't you men just let women have a tiny bit of power for once Let them enjoy themselves for once we've been opressing them and treating them like slaves for an eternity I love this sculpture
Ian Lopez
interesting take , some one could easily make a better sculpture in ZBrush but why not make one of medusa beheaded instead
I fucking hate self hating euro larper faggots who try too hard to fit in

That is not the point.

Why are her tits so saggy? Where is the waist? She's built like a fridge. Is she jewish?
Medusa wasn't a tragic anti heroine figure unjustly murdered. There's no point to that symbolism.

>(3) 5 gallon buckets, ladder, a shit ton of tannerite >Mix the ingredients in the buckets, use ladder to climb up to the chest region, duct tape it to chest >Sit in car/truck a few blocks away with a scopes weapon >Blow that shit sky high
Idk why people won’t do shit like this. Keep the firearm in your car. Take zig zag patterns to the statue in case you’re caught on CCTV (it’ll be confusing as fuck watching someone walk down one street and appear on the other)
Jace Hall
>Baphomet If you're scared and confused of that then you better not google the yin yang symbol.

Amazing that at the same time they are tearing down statues, they have subversive statues ready to put up It's almost like it was planned
The real subversive would label it a white supremacist statue and tear it down in an angry riot.

Although on a totally different level, this reminds me of the whole debacle around The Last Jedi, and how people got mad that Luke's character got completely assassinated in it. I think it is the same logic behind it: take something everyone loves/agrees upon, and poke it with a stick to show how much you can twist it. I don't know what is the end goal but it sure seems like every established story in our cultural heritage is poised to become an ideological battleground.
