My uncle got a rescue pit bull last year. Despite everyone warning him, he kept it because his wife and his sister-in-law spouted that “muh owner, not the breed” nonsense and shamed anyone who thought otherwise.
Well, yesterday, he had to put it down. It broke out of his yard, attacked a girl and a small dog she was walking 100yds away. Small dog almost had to be euthanized because of its injuries. Girl is traumatized. Uncle is injures from scratches and bites.
Fuck pit bulls. Don’t subject anyone or anything to these awful animals.

I have a 75lb American Staffordshire Terrier who is a big lap dog around the house. But he is a watchdog and anyone who walks past the house he is alert and ready to kill them if needed. Best fucking dog ever
