You can pick up this and Colombo, along with a slew of other knockoff detective shows on the oldie channels. Pretty sure nobody even watches regular TV anymore, all anybody talks about are how good the old shows are.

When I was a kid, all foreign movies and series were at least a decade old. I spent my childhood watching MacGyver and Knight Rider and movies by Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don't remember them being cucked either.

Looking back, most of my favourite shows were very Jewish. But television was definitely better then, and being a kid watching Nickelodeon in its prime, there was nothing better.

I was watching a rerun of Strike It Lucky from 1992 on youtube the other week and it had the adverts included. I ended up sitting through them and I was honestly entertained by them. That’s how much better TV was.

In all honesty, I have never had television. I hated it when I was growing up, but now I see it as the blessing that it was. I was not brain washed by corporate bullshit and instead played video games and card games with friends and read books growing up.

I don't know who watches TV nowadays, but if they do, it's an automatic NPC detector for me.

I do watch some shows that I download, but I have to consider it a lot before I decide to watch a show. A lot of time and consideration goes into what I watch. I don't just take people's word for it and watch any crap.

To your point though, TV and movies have gotten a lot more hardcore in the post 9/11 era, but it started way before then. Hollywood became more degenerate after the ending of what is called the "Hayes Code", which from 1934 to 1968 when Hollywood didn't have swearing or raunchy sex or violence. After that ended, Hollywood went down the path of cramming in whatever the fuck they could.
