In all fairness when pics like this come up you have to know that Scandinavia and most of Europe was either harsh, or covered in woods. people were minimalist, or made things out of wood which would erode and decay over years.

Not saying its wrong to do as it wins wars, but there is a reason why there is not much around Europe of the old tribes other than well documented pieces.
