No it has completely different spike proteins, and spreads via aerolsols, as discovered in early February in Hong Kong, and small droplets that sorry spray on fomites. Compared to influenza which spreads via larger droplets which spray onto fomites. Influenza viruses also get deactivated in a fraction of the time in normal environments (hard surfaces(steel, glass, plastic)) exposed to normal amounts of UV (sunlight) and at normal temperature ranges (0 to 20 Celsius)
